Intro & New Features
Dominate the ice with the Tacks XF Pro Hockey Stick. It features an advanced mid kickpoint, to optimize energy storage to unleash explosive, powerful shots. Constructed with advanced technologies like the Nanolite shield carbon layering technology, Sigma STP Spread Tow, and a soft Helicoid blade, this top-tier stick offers a remarkable blend of ultra-lightweight feel and superior durability. The innovative "V" shaft geometry enhances smooth shot loading, amplifying wrist shot power with unparalleled consistency.
Stick Profile
Featuring a modern mid kickpoint, this stick uses a softer mid-section to ensure maximum energy storage when loading the stick. The new modern kickpoint has been optimized for wrist shots, enabling aggressive shooters with even more puck speed and consistency than before.
Shaft Construction
The shaft is constructed of a variable "V" shaft geometry, which allows for an easier and constant loading of the stick, helping to increase wrist shot power. The XF Pro stick also uses Nanolite shield carbon layering technology - a high-performance carbon layering which creates a stick that is both incredibly light and strong.
Additionally, this stick uses the exclusive Skeleton+ Taper technology, a manufactured technology that is found in the taper area which provides better reliability in key moments of the game.
Blade Construction
The blade found in the XF Pro stick is the soft Helicoid blade. This blade allows players to gain the loading capacity and feel of a softer blade while taking advantage of the increased durability. Helicoid technology is an improved method to stack carbon layers for long lasting performance.
Grip
Featuring a Superfast Microfeel grip, the XF Pro stick utilizes a graphic-integrated raised grip on the mid-section of the shaft. This technology ensures players are able to have perfect stick control with a visual indicator of where the grip stops and starts.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length
The CCM Tacks XF Pro Junior Hockey Stick comes in the following blade patterns: P29, P28, P88, and P90TM.
P29 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. This curve may suffer a little bit on the backhand.
P88 is a relatively traditional curve. A popular choice in the past, it excels greatly in stickhandling, quick wrist shots, and controlling snap shots.
P28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be a bit difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.
P90TM is a hybrid of the P29 and P28, with the lie of the P29 and the toe of the P28. Additionally, the curve is a bit taller for more control and power on face-offs and board battles. The "M" stands for "max blade", which means the blade is also has a bit more height for a stronger presence when engaging in board battles.
